Friday night for my birfday . . .

JD was suppose to take me out to dinner. The grandsons were getting to spend the night. So I was going to eat with JD, Amy, (His gf) and the boys.

The boys mom, Chele, couldn't make it. Then Layne and her family couldn't make it. Rabbit lives in another town. So I was rather sad that they were not going to be there. BUT I had the 3 of the 4 youngest, handsomest men in my life for dinner! (3 out of 4 ain't bad, right) So I was all excited!!!

I pick up the boys and off we go to Logan's. I call JD so he can meet us there. HMMM. He is ALREADY there. . weird.

What a day to celebrate!!

So for my birfday, Rabbit bling blinged my KWK!! How ya like the new look?

I love it!!

Today I became a mother...

for the last time 24 years ago.

My baby turned 24 today.

When he's a good boy, I tell him he was the best birthday present I have ever had. On those OTHER days, I say: 'Member when I tell you that you are my best birthday present?' He says 'yeah'. I respond back: 'Today? Not so much. . .'

Today. . . very much. I am one lucky Momma.

Happy Birthday JD. Love you muches!

And 2 days later. . .

This is yesterday.

Two days after the 75 degree weather. . .

Yes, those are irises peaking up. .
(Yes, I messed the date up on the camera when I changed the batteries. but geezzz, what do you expect, it's ME after all!!!)

This now makes TWICE in less than TWO WEEKS that Central Texas has gotten SNOW!! And a good showing of snow too!

Rarely do we even GET snow, much less snow that is there for two days!!

And in between we are flooding.

More rain this weekend. Does anyone have a boat I can use for an indefinite period of time?

Am I dreamin'?

I think I must be dreamin'! It seems to be 75 degrees with the sun shinin'!

And the poops are actually playin with each other! I MUST be dreamin!

I have dropped the English class. It was just too much! When I did that, even after talking to my teach, I felt like the weight of the world lifted off of me.

I was so free. I have been giggling. Giggling til tears fall. I see stuff that NO ONE else would see. Well, maybe Rabbit. .

Layne and I were on our way to a friend of mine's yesterday. I was rubber neckin'. (I stayed in my lane. Really. It was hard, but I did it.)

This week has been a nutso week!

To start off: No water on Monday night through Tuesday A.M.

I had the Brit Lit test on Tuesday morn. Then had to read Everyman that night.  It is a play written in Old English I guess. Words in the sentence are backwards, so you have to read it once and then reread it the RIGHT way. It is 25 pages long. Imagine how long it takes to read. .

Computer lecture class: Forgot the homework. Forgot to read the chapter. Forgot about the class period. Until 4:30 in the afternoon. Class starts at 5:30. .

Computer lab class: Turned the in the powerpoint presentation I had been working on so much that I forgot the lecture part. Of course, the lecture part of the class is 75% of the grade while the lab is 25%. BUT THE LAB IS MORE FUN!

Got the results of the British Lit test on Thursday morn. BAAAAD. 79. I had rewritten the essay part 3 times. Think I should have left the first one. . Got the Knights and bad guys from two stories mixed up. Dr. Teach was not happy.

Waterless. .

WELL, once again, a line has busted in the little town I live in. Another night without water. ONLY this time, there was no water to take a shower with this morning either!! This happens about once a month anymore. I used to freak. Now I pull the bottled water out.

But can someone run a hose to my house? We can run it through the window, with a sprayer attached, duct tape the handle down where it will spray, then I can take a shower.

I appreciate it! Until then. . . if you smell something rather ripe, it'll be me!

Oh cool. They have a new number. What is the old number? What is old person? Or is this a new person?

So I text back:

"COOL!!! WHO ARE YOU?"

The answer: "IT'S ME SEXY (LASTNAME)"

It's a friend of mine's brother. The Loon. (I guess he had to differentiate between him and his Sis. .)

I almost fell out of the booth in the restaurant laughin'! JD thought I was laughin' at him! Got THE Look over that one!

So Mr. Sexy called me when I told him: "ROFL! You kill me! Made me laugh!"

He LOVES to do this to me!

The reason behind The Three F's blog

For the past three years, when I've had my annual, my liver functions have been 'slightly' elevated. First year, I went through a untrasound. The next year the doc blew it off.Then I got tired of always having to talk to the nurse so I changed doctors. (I've lost count how many I've been through in the last 9 years, when my FAVORITE doc moved!) So I got a new doctor when my grass in teh front yard decided to grab my foot, remember? Ruts. 

I thought she was gonna be ok, but alas. No.

I swear, there are more doctors that get up and put that duck suit on daily! So beware, you don't always see it right off. Sometimes you just don't know that they waddle until months later.

Anyways, I was back in the search for a doctor (Does any one want a barkin' basset? She has been goin' all live long day. . . Scrappy will not play and she is mad. . .). A friend told me about one, but she said he has a strange sense of humor. I replied, I really didn't care so long as he didn't wear feathers and waddle, because the Aliens were takin' over my brain.

The Three F's

Every day on my way to work, this is what I say:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Sacred is your name,

Your kingdom come

Your will be done

On earth as it is in Heaven.

Give me my daily bread,

Forgive me as I forgive others, (please dear Lord, help me on this one)

Lead me not in to temptation

But deliver me from evil.
