A Tiny Tot of a car.
A car like a Dodge Neon, Chevy Cobalt, VW Bug? Ya those TT cars?
The ones that have squirrels in cages, runnin hard and just tryin to keep the posted speed limit, as engines. The ones that pedal to the metal, flat out, is going all of 75 tops. Yeah, those TT cars.
Their owner decides they want to go faster than a sports car.
With caged squirrels.
Ok, bring it on.
These poor little squirrels!
Can you imagine their feet?
Worn and bloody from tryin to go faster than they were meant to, which is usuallyis no faster than 60.
They are outta breath.
Huffin and puffin.
Sweatin up a storm.
And in this heat!
Can you imagine those poor little exhausted animals?
All for show off sake.
After my trip to Minnesota, I have realized that these little cars were made for Minnesota. Their top speed limit is 60, 99% of the time. If you get lucky, (and I mean REAL lucky) you will have a 10 foot span of a 65 mph speed limit and then it drops like a lead bullett to 55. With a cop sitting 1/2" on the OTHER side of 55. Waitin. Waitin. Waitin.
So beware if drivin in Minnesota. The cops grow like trees out there. Can't turn around without seein 6!
I'm serious. And NO, I did not get a ticket. Not even got stopped.
I was good.
For once.
Oh yeah, back to my story.
So here we have the sports car toolin down the road mindin her own business.
When up pops a TT.
With squirrels.
In the inside lane.
And Grampa in the outside lane.
The sports car gets jammed in behind Grampa out for a Saturday afternoon drive on Monday morning.
SC can't go any where because Gramps is in no hurry because all he wants to do is get out of the house before Grams gets her honey do list finished and starts in on when is he gonna get it done and why wadn't it done yesterday.
He really just wants coffee with the guys before any of THAT begins.
Just relax and enjoy the day before madness and mayhem descends.
The squirrels in the TT have begun to run out of juice and they are just tryin to maintainin their speed along side Gramps. At 60. or maybe 58. or . . .

Squirrels and Saturday afternoon drivers are really pput in our path to make us stop and smell the roses.
Observe the world through rose colored glasses.
Whether we want to or not.
Today was not a "A rose colored glass" day.
I passed.
I wanted breakfast.
I was a hungry hungry hippo!
The guys at work were waitin on me!
I had to go!
