Kentucky

The first week of October I was off to a trade show.

Went up in a bucket truck.

This is what it looked like at 85 feet above ground:

If you look real close over the top of that building, you will see downtown Louisville.

It was pretty fun.

AND beautiful!

I think I want to live there.

Yup. It is soo pretty.

Have a super duper day!

Cheers!

That looks like it was fun! I'm afraid of heights but being in a bucket I think I'd be ok. Great pictures.

Thought you was going to say you could see Texas.

I've worked up in a few boom trucks over the years. They can be a bit squirelly at times.

I'm super afraid of heights and this was my 'test' to me. I was doing fine until he let go and stopped the thing at 85 feet instead of taking it all the way up to 88 feet. It swayed and I was so not expecting it because this bucket did not move at all! It was so so smooth, it was unreal! So that sway spun my brain. Would not go any further up. That will be my final test is the 88 feet!

I'm not sure I would go up in any others because I saw them swaying as they went up. I will stick with this brand of truck!

I can't imagine working in one of these things! Not my cuppa tea fer shure!!

Ive had to work in those lifts several times...nice enough with a straight up, straight down situation but swaying in the breeze or working there for some time is not at all nice. I don't like heights and I hate any kind of lift.
It sure looks nice in Kentucky, I'd love to see America one day.

I would be terrified but I would like to try that. The views are awesome.

I'm a bit afraid of heights, but the scenery was fantastic. My family lives not too far from there in Kentucky...
Very nice!

I would be on the floor of the bucket having a panic attack! I had no idea Kentucky was so purty!
