The creative mind

I am learning that when the creative mind starts up, there is no stoppin it. I 've been in dl (deadlock) with this blog for weeks, months rather. Seems all I want to do it draw or paint. Or make baby blankets and pillows. Not school, not work, not blog.

Mic has talked me into tryin acrylics instead of oils. Oils take forever to dry BUT not as long as water soluable oils. THEY NEVER DRY. I ended up throwing 2 little canvases away because that paint had sat for 4 weeks and would still come off on your fingers and it was sticky. So all those paints went to file thirteen.

So here is what I started late last nite and finished, mind you, FINISHED today!

Winnie the Pooh and the Lullabee's

I'm so excited I want to give it to the person intended NOW. But I cannot because we are having a little baby luncheon next month and it is for that. I am also making a baby blanket with her initial on it made out of hunny bee material on a red background with yellow on the other side. THAT was the original gift only in stead of her initial it was going to be the hunny pot but i never could make up my mind. So it has changed once again.....

Been in "DL" too. No other talents to fall back on like you do. Can hardly call my caliber of writing, talent. But to have nothing creative to offer has been driving me crazy. Your work is very nice. Your blog is fun to read. I hope you get back into the groove.
