Black Cloud over work

It was a krappy day.

Last Tuesday, one of our shipping clerks had a wreck. He is having problems with his vision because the dust from the air bag got in his eyes. His eyes are swollen shut.

Yesterday, our salesman who found out in October that he had stage 4 prostate cancer moved on to the next realm of life. He was 56. His wife is lost. She was 18 when they married. It's been a wonderful 30 years. Until the last 6 months. Their girls are mid twenties.

Saturday, one of our production workers was at his dad's and was fixing to leave when he had what they thought was a seizure. No, it was a massive stroke with the blood clot at the base of his skull. Nothing they could do. He moved to the next realm of life this afternoon. He was 48.

All it seems I've done is pull forms for beneficiaries, or short term disability forms, talking or emailing bad news to many folks. And cry. That is all I seem to have done for the last 2 days. Cry.

I'm tired and my back still hurts from doing what, I haven't a clue. Breathing maybe. That's all I remember doing on Saturday morning.

I'm sad. Pray for these families.
Hugs to all.

You know, it's weird, but it seems every spring is like this...full of unexpected deaths. I've already heard of two deaths of people I knew well. I wonder why it happens so often in Springtime when everything is finally warm and beautiful and new again... it's just weird. I'm sorry for your losses.

Hi KaLynn, such terrible losses on their own but all together must be overwhelming for you. I'm so sorry for their families and friends. Such tragic losses and makes absolutely no sense.

Hugs to you

Such a horrible few days for you. My prayers go out to the families of those that lost loved ones and also to you. It's hard to be the one to have to deal with the paperwork of death. It is painful on the soul.

Sorry to hear about your losses. If your company is anything like mine it's like losing a family member. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the families involved.

I'm so sorry about the losses. I can't even imagine.

That has to be very difficult to deal with and still have to push on to get the paperwork completed.
I am so sorry.
When I am stressed, it goes right to my back muscles only to compound the stress. Lots of IBU.

I hope you find something to Kackle about soon..
Hugs.

How horrible. Death of a loved one is hard to handle, no matter how old the person is, but somehow, when they are younger, it is such a shock. I will say a prayer for all those families.

You take care of yourself, too. I agree with June. When I am stressed, it goes right to my back.

Thanks to all! I am glad this week is over! When I had to take their names off of payroll documents, or employee lists, etc., it made me feel horrible! It's like they never existed! I just cried more tears.

But they are less and less. Thanks for all the prayers! I'm sure the families felt them!
