A Dog's Life

My dogs have such a hard life.

They get cold. We turn the heat up. And move their beds in front of the fire.  .

They get hot. We turn the cool down. And we move their beds under the ceiling fans. .

They want to sleep on the couch. We cover it in blankets. (Well we had to after the black and white one, Jack dammmit chewed a hole in one  of those cushions he is laying on. .)

We want the lights on, they cover their faces, and bodies, with couch pillows.

(That is a basset under there. Legs and tail on one end and nose and mouth sticking out the other end. . . Sorry for the blur, I was laffin. . . . and she heard me and moved . . .)

They want the recliner to sleep in. We oblige.

We love our babies.

All 950 THOOOOOUUUUUSAND of them. Actually only 6. (Doesn't sound so bad this way. . .) But still. . . (in my mind I hear that like that guy on Wheel of Fortune: Kaitlyn won 36 THOOOOOUUUUUSAND dollars!!)

They are ROTTEN!!! ROTTEN!! ROTTEN!!!

and i made them that way. . . .

And as always, do some Kacklin today. At me and my ROTTEN dogs, is fine too! We do that alot at our house. . .

Love the photo of all the pups on the couch together. We only have our darlin' Lucy, who is now sleeping on Lou's pillow while he's not home.

Six! Wow, I only ever had one dog (discounting visitors) at a time. I think I might be able to cope with more but hubby wouldn't. Gosh, you must have lots of fun with your lot.

So cute! Sometimes when Cranky Cat is asleep on the couch and I am heading for bed I cover her with blankets so she doesn't get cold. Sometimes I make little forts for her out of pillows. She doesn't really seem to appreciate the cushion castles I make for her. **shrugs** - G

Catherine-So far they share! =0)

Pat-Harlie (Bassett) and Scrappy (buff fuzzy one) fight for pillow space. There are times when Baxter (another white one) wants there too. I have 3 pillows. . .

Nubian-That they are! And they know it too!!

Valerie-This was NOT a planned thing! The 3 white ones are the ones I picked out then as kids came and went, others stayed for one reason or another and have now found a permanent home.

SS-HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! There is NOTHING laid back about me. Ask Michael!!

G-what is the matter with these 4 legged kids?!?!?! We try so hard to please and they just look at us like we've lost our minds!!! HAHAHHAAA!!!

Matty-I do. And I am. really. both. .
