The weekend after Turdy Day

I didn't even get out of my pjams today. Such a lazy butt. Slept in the recliner off and on all day. Most of the dogs just snuggled with me. Not HD. Nope. She crawled on TOP of me and scooted me over. I was in HER corner, using HER armrest as my pillow. Have I ever mentioned that she is HEAVY?

I wanted to sleep late this morning. NOPE. Not happenin'. I was laying on my back. Open invitation to crawl on me. First Crystal, who weighs a total of FOUR pounds. Got my kiss and off she went.

I'm dozin'. Hands behind my head, under the pillow. UGH! "HD! WHAT are you doin'?" I open my eyes. She is LAYIN' on me. Nose under my chiny, chin, chin. Lookin' at me. "WHAT? Get off of me!" She does not move. Just looks at me. It is two hours past our usual gettin' up time. It is SEVEN oclock. DANG IT! I just wanted to sleep til 8! (Dpgs are worse than kids when it comes to sleepin' late. They don't get the message of LEAVE ME ALONE too good.)

"FINE! I'm up, you big baluga! I'll get you some food."

I stumble down the hall to the kitchen. Look at the food bowls. All FIVE of them are FULL. . Water bowls are FULL. . GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I look at her. She's bouncin'. . I growl at her again. She thinks it's time to play. Dang dawg. I'm goin' to the recliner. I lay down across the recliner. I get in her spot. She SITS on me. ON my SIDE. FINE! I'll move.

I go back to bed. They all follow. And sit and look at me.

Next remodelin' project: Door for bedroom.

Hope you kackle today. Does a body good!

That sounds like my kiddos...the oldest doesn't take the "get out of here I am asleep thing too well." He just keeps coming back until you are forced to get out of bed. Thanks for following...I will do the same here!

Pets! Happily, mine's too big to crawl up into the recliner with me... and too old to make it up the stairs to my bedroom. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your pajama day!

Going to the gym today after a couple lazy days myself. It felt good.

We don't have dogs here, just two cats. And they are just as bad with waking us up. Everything revolves around them.

Today is my day of doing a whole lot of nothing! HD sounds like one of those dogs you just gotta love!

MilesPerHour-That is my day tomorrow! I am actually looking forward to it!
CatLadyLarew-Somedays I just want peace and quiet. I can't even go pee without the whole crew! The door to the bathroom needs to be replaced so it doesn't shut very good since the remodel and since I am the one doing the work, I have to be the one to replace the door. So for now there is no peace for the wicked here! =0)

Matty-Used to have a cat named Neo. He would come up and tickle my nose with his whiskers to wake me up. Miss that ole boy.

Carol-Harlie is one of those dogs you love! Big bassett hound. Big brown eyes. And she has my number!!

What a nice way to spend the day...even with the dogs all over you. :)

My cat has been doing the same all week. She is on our case all the time. She sits on the dresser, starting at 3:30am and stares at my husband's head until he finally gets up and feeds her. That's her thing now, staring at you, with a passive aggressive tail flick that knocks anything not glued down onto the floor. We've tried locking her out of the bedroom, but she just howls. Why are we such fools for our furry friends? :) - G

Anita-can't sit in a comfy chair by myself. have 4 of the 5 pups with me!

Georgina-cats are soo funny! they let us know EXACTLY what they want with those looks and that tail!! I have no bedroom door but if I did then it would be a continual scratching! so same difference!! These furry kids keep us entertained that's for sure!

Hey KaLynn, Dogs are a ton of work compared to kids, I love them though! And yes, if you have dogs, your sleeping in days are over! Nothing like a schedule to keep a doggy happy!

Secretia-When I bought this house the room I use as my bedroom had a vinyl foldy door. I ripped it off and planned to get a door put up. Not sure what this room was because it has no closet either but I only have one other bedroom! I remodeled the bathroom and put the washroom in there instead of kitchen. Haven't gotten around to a door yet. Though it is next on list!

Meno Mom-My sleepin' in days only were over when Harlie moved in. The others just snuggled in with me. NOT HARLIE! She wants to play.....

Our cat likes the work week schedule, on the weekends she seems to think we should be up at the same time. Meows will alerts us to our mistake of sleeping late.

SquirelQueen-Your cat and Harlie must be twinkies!! Harlie wakes me up at 5:15 every dang day!!

They just wanted your undivided attention. Either that or they had to pee! LOL!

I think that whole chair is her territory! When I was sitting in it I had to move so she could sit with me. Thought I was going to fall outta it!
