Things that go thump in the night

After yesterday morning, I must admit, I was a tad jumpy last nite. I even came home and looked all around my car to see what could have been tapping on my car. NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Can't figure it out.

So when I get woke up last night with strange noises in my house, I just about freaked! I was laying so still, trying to figure out what it was. THEN the dogs started barking. I think someone is in the house.

FINALLY, I IDENTIFY THE NOISE.

HARLIE!! Get out of the toilet!

Hope you kackled today.

Too funny, I bet there isn't a person out here who hasn't sat straight up in bed after hearing a strange sound in the night. Lucky you to have figured it out before climbing out of your warm bed!

@ Menopausal New Mom-There were muddy footprints on the toilet this morning too! She was wagging her tail and it was thumping on the tub! Guess she can't drink and not wag the tail! I laughed this morning but last night, not so much!

That is hilarious! Nothing like having your puppy drinking out of the toilet to scare the you know what out of you!

I think I'd close the toilet seat before going to bed...just in case.

That's funny. But I really do that, lay in bed and wonder what was that noise I just heard. Usually one of the inhabitants of my bed making a weird breathing noise.

HAHA! My last dog used the toilet as her waterbowl all the time. Not because of me, mind you, but because the other two occupants can never remember to put the seat down.

Our new dog can't reach it :)
